Hayden Lane

This is Hayden Lane, the birthday boy. Or should I say...birthday prince! He had such a fun party, with a blow up castle jumper, a ball pit, yummy burgers and a fantastic cake by Sylvia Shelley (her family pictures are in my blog right before this one!). Hayden loved his cake, by the way...until his daddy smashed it in his face. He was perfectly content to just eat it one tiny piece at a time :)

Sheley Family

This session has been a long time coming! We started our shoot out at the Shack in the Back...bad idea. It was mosquito central! We were all miserable by the time we finally gave up! So, a couple of weeks later we finished up at Midland College (no mosquito bites, thank you very much), and I'm pretty excited about the final result!

Boudoir!

So, I got the chance to do a "boudoir" session with a couple of girls today! Amanda and Ruby are two beautiful ladies, inside and out! I had a great time doing this shoot! Now, I wont show you all of the pictures since it is a private thing, but I'll show you some of the more modest shots :)

Anyone want a free session?

I would really like to get some new maternity, bridal, infant or boudoir sessions in! I haven't done many of those lately. It's mostly couples, families and children at the moment. (Not that I don't enjoy those! I would just like to mix it up a little bit!) If you would like to be a model for me, just send me an email (fortisimo1215@aol.com) or give me a call (432-238-0729).

First blog for Mari Annelise Photography!

So, I have decided that it is much easier to share my newest work with my little world through a blog. So, here it goes! My first blog will be to share my session with Amanda and Matt. Amanda has been my very best friend since we were in Kindergarten. Now, she is getting married, and I was lucky enough to be asked to do their photos.
I've never really done the "feet" shots, but I tried them out with these two. I loved the result, because the hands can convey so much emotion. These two are passionate, and very much in love, and it shows.
